Blue Moon Bar Hoppers:
A Tasty Selection of Vintage Bobbers

Attention Bobber Enthusiasts! Make sure to stop by and see this awesome collection of vintage bobbers at their best. The Blue Moon Bar Hoppers are located behind the Blue Moon BMW space in the center of the show.

Before there were choppers, there were bobbers. Originally bobbers were stripped down Harleys and Indians. In the 1940s, riders seeking more performance began taking all the extraneous parts off their heavy American touring bikes in an effort to lighten the motorcycle and improve performance. Fenders were shortened or removed all together, saddle bags and windshields were discarded, large seats were replaced with small pads, foot boards were replaces with foot pegs and mufflers were replaced with short open pipes. Blue Moon Cycle will be displaying a collection of eight American bobber motorcycles from the 1930s thru the 1960s.

Bikes to Include:
1933 Haley VL bobber
1940 Indian four bobber
1948 Harley 45 bobber
1947 Nimbus bobber
1956 Harley KH street tracker
1948 Harley flat tracker
1969 Harley bobber
1948 Indian Chief bobber

Revolution Manufacturing

Revolution Manufacturing, the world leader in carbon fiber technology for the v-twin, has dove head first into the world of billet aluminum. And with the introduction of its new King Knurl Series, the first of many styles to come, shows their diversification and uniqueness in the marketplace.

The first parts in the line are aimed directly at the very hot bagger market with floorboards, gas cap lids, speaker grilles, dash inserts, brake pedal cover, and shifter and foot pegs. The floorboards use a new, patented, underside for better appearance and durability.

Revolution Manufacturing stunned the v-twin market back in January 2005 with the release of the only carbon fiber frame for the v-twin followed by the highly successful carbon fiber wheels for v-twins in 2006. It has received many awards including Hot Bike's most innovative product award and the first annual Teresi V-Twin award.

SEMINARS BY Marietta Motorsports: A dealer alternative service and performance shop for sportbikes, racebikes and metric cruisers.

Motorcycle Maintenance: What, When and Why
A listing, description and explanation of preventative and scheduled maintenance items that should be completed by the rider and/or a mechanic to keep the motorcycle reliable and safe. These items range from visual inspection items that should be completed before every ride to more complicated maintenance that is recommended by the manufacturer.

Introduction to Roadracing and Trackdays with racer Anne Roberts
This presentation will introduce riders to the excitement of the track both racing and trackdays. We'll cover the differences between an "off the show room floor" sportbike and all the modifications and components required to turn it into a real racebike (with actual motorcycles)! If you just want the experience of being on the track without the competition or to improve your riding in a controlled environment, we'll discuss track-days: what they are, who can go, what you need and what to expect. WERA racer Anne Roberts will show the safety gear racers wear and how they protect the rider in the event of a crash. We'll end by discussing the organizations and racetracks in the Southeast and how you can ride them at a track day or by starting to race at the amateur level.
