Discovery Channel's "Great Bike Build Off"
The finales for Discovery Channel's "Great Bike Build Off" were held at the show on Saturday, where the attendees could vote for their favorite bike. Contenders Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles in Sun Valley, CA and Eddie Trotta of Thunder Cycle Designs in Fort Lauderdale, FL signed autographs and visited with the crowd all day.
Full Throttle-sponsored Bike Competition
We had over 85 bikes entered in the custom bike competition this year, making it one of our biggest ever. Thanks to Randy, Stan, and Bobby from Full Throttle for a great job keeping it all in order.
Entertainment
There was plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend. The guys from Empire Racing were outside doing freestyle jumps, and indoors we had great music from J.B. Walker & the Cheap Whiskey Band and Keren Leppo. We'll have some video of the Empire guys and J.B. Walker posted soon.
Desperado Custom Bike Rig
The huge Desperado custom bike rig was at the show, along with builder Jeff Nicklus showing off his bikes and giving away Desperado T-shirts all weekend.
Show Pics
This year we had more bikes, custom chrome, leather, and accessories than ever before. Roger Bourget was on hand Saturday and Sunday signing autographs in the American Dream booth. The AMA Merchandise Semi was on site for the whole weekend, as well as the Antique Motorcycle Club's vintage bike display. It was a great show and we're already looking forward to a fantastic one in 2005. Keep a look out for the dates and mark your calendar early.
